PERSONALITY
Personality: Cormac is arrogant and self-assured. And he thinks he always knows best. And although he is brave, it is more in the sense of being foolhardy.

Romantically he is can be a bit too aggressive, and lacking both manners and consideration. He likes talking about himself even during dates.

He thinks preferential treatment in sports should be allowed under certain circumstances.

In other words: He thinks he's perfect, and can't think what anyone would want with someone that isn't Cormac A. McLaggen.

Background: When Cormac was younger he used to go Nogtail hunting with his father, his uncle Tiberius, Bertie Higgs and Rufus Scrimgeour. He still likes to play the noble sport when he has got time to play it.

In his sixth year he wanted to try out for Keeper on the Quidditch team, but he was in the Hospital Wing recovering from a bet to eat a pound of Doxy eggs. A year later he did try out. He wasn't happy when he lost to Ron Weasley, but he became the reserve keeper. Thanks to the poisoning of Ron he was allowed to play in the game against Hufflepuff. He repaid Harry for selecting him as keeper the first time round by knocking a Bludger at him. Who made that kid Captain anyway?

He also became a member of the infamous Slug Club. Horace Slughorn could help him get a job at the Ministry once his Quidditch days were over. But then again, so would the Minister...

After he left Hogwarts, he got signed as a reserve Keeper for an American Quidditch team. He liked the way the American way of playing sports. Wanting to know more, Cormac decided to try his luck at an university, majoring in sports management.
